I arrived at the Algo House and was immediately impressed with the set-up and theme. The event provided a supportive environment for attendees to engage with resources, support, and connections necessary to thrive in the Web3 world. The Breakfast Club: Women x Web3 event was especially notable, as it provided a platform for women in the industry to share ideas and form collaborations. I think every table was taken! Later on, the bridging of Web2 to Web3 session explored how NFTs can tokenize real-world assets and create new opportunities for creators.
Great connections were made and there was a ton of interest in the Algorand NFT space. I was thrilled to meet a mixture of current users and new creators and supporters at our booth! Attendees were excited to learn more about our NFT marketplace, built on the Algorand blockchain, and how it can empower creators to monetize their work. Myself and Partners, like Algo Leagues, had many great conversations with artists, builders, and investors. The Pitch Competition was also a highlight, as it gave us the opportunity to see some amazing projects, and to connect with the creators behind them. Algo Roundtable was the most impactful! I want to thank the Algorand Foundation and the Algofam for their continuous support. The event was a great success, and it wouldn’t have been possible without their contributions. As we move forward into 2023, I believe that we will see even greater opportunities in the Web3 world, and I am proud to be a part of the Algorand ecosystem.

Algogems uses smart contracts and application calls where possible, and fees are only taken from successful sales.
Algogems offers several listing types, including fixed price sales, auctions, offers, shuffles, fusions, staking, and packs. All these listing types are unique and cater to various buying and selling preferences. Algogems also has a Governance, which gives $GEMS token holders control over the core marketplace aspects such as content moderation, marketplace curation, and fee structure.
